Find it by what you remember
Search by meaning, the way you'd describe something to a friend, or by the exact words when you know them. You don't need to remember a title or where you saw it.
Add tags, put things into collections and write a note in your own words, so what you remember about something is kept with it.
Ask your own AI
Connect Claude to KeepJar and ask it about your jar, or have it save and tag things for you. KeepJar uses MCP, an open standard for connecting AI assistants to apps.
When you ask, Claude searches your jar with the same search you use, by meaning or by words, and answers from the things you kept, your own notes included.
You approve the connection, and you can disconnect it any time in Settings in the web app. Your AI can archive things but can never permanently delete anything, and it can't see your sign-in or your capture tokens.
Private by default
- No ads and no trackers, on this site or in the app.
- Stored in Germany. Your jar is kept on our servers there.
- Search stays with us. Meaning search runs on our own server, so your saves are not sent to an AI company unless you connect your own AI.
- Yours to take or delete. Export everything from the web app, or delete your account in Settings, any time.

Is KeepJar free?
Yes. KeepJar is free to use. We plan a paid plan, KeepJar Pro, for people who use their AI with KeepJar a lot; the free plan will stay.
Which devices does KeepJar work on?
The iPhone and iPad app is coming soon to the App Store. The web app works in any modern browser.
Does KeepJar download Instagram or TikTok videos?
No. KeepJar keeps the link, the title and a preview; the post stays on its platform.
Which AI works with KeepJar?
Claude, today, through a custom connector at https://api.mykeepjar.com/functions/v1/mcp. Other AI assistants that support MCP connectors may work too.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Settings in the web app has a full export of your jar, as a JSON file.
Who makes KeepJar?
